The animation here was very good, the fight scenes were fluid and the movements feels weighty. The pacing was tight, every scenes was perfect and wasted no time. The writing also feels like it is building for something big. My emotions were so high in the last part. It was so intense, and the music was perfectly timed.

This episode is pure hype. The animation really levels up when Fate goes all out in battle and that emotional weight with Roxy hits hard.

Episode Context

Coming off 'Trap,' where Fate dealt with strange monster activity and reunited with Roxy, 'Death March' serves as the critical bridge to the season finale 'Devouring', episode 12. This is where the season's simmering conflicts reach a boiling point, with major confrontations and revelations designed to launch directly into the climactic payoff. As the eleventh of twelve episodes, everything here exists to raise the stakes to their highest point before the conclusion.
