📖 SYNOPSIS

"Bem" unfolds in Libra City, a port town divided by wealth and corruption. Upper Town thrives with politics and culture, while Outside is plagued by crime, separated by a canal and a single bridge, reflecting human discrimination. Detective Sonia, newly arrived from Upper Town, investigates cases when she encounters three youkai ningen: BEM, Bela, and Belo. These monstrous beings conceal their true forms while battling evil. BEM seeks to become human, Bela studies humanity, and Belo explores the world through gaming. They struggle with human prejudice despite their efforts to protect them. Simultaneously, a mysterious figure seeks to capture the three, pulling the strings of Libra City from the shadows, and their motives remain unknown. The series explores themes of acceptance, prejudice, and the complexities of the human condition.
