Episode Context

Episode 7 planted the seeds by having Oga and Aoi meet unknowingly at a park, and Episode 8 pays that off by throwing them together in the pressure cooker of Ishiyama High, where reputations precede everyone. This is a pivotal early-season episode that formally establishes Aoi Kunieda and the Red Tails as major players, expanding the show's world beyond Oga's immediate circle. It sets the foundation for evolving rivalries and alliances that will shape the conflicts ahead across the season's 60-episode run.
