Episode Context

Sitting roughly a third of the way through the 60-episode run, Episode 18 marks a clear tonal pivot after the lighter Demon World homework antics of Episode 17. It deepens Oga's arc as Baby Beel's caretaker and introduces stakes that will carry into Episode 19 and the confrontations ahead. This is the kind of transitional episode that separates Beelzebub's early comedic setup from its more action-driven middle stretch.
