Episode Context

Sitting at episode 17 of 60, this lands in the early-to-mid stretch of the series, following a lighter poolside episode and continuing a run that balances standalone comedy with worldbuilding around Baby Beel's demon heritage. The episode bridges the gap between earlier school-focused arcs and upcoming challenges tied to Oga's role as the Demon Lord's child's caretaker. It reinforces the supernatural stakes without advancing a major conflict, positioning itself as connective tissue before the series escalates.
