I wasn't expecting drama right before the big event but I should've seen it coming - it's a classic. However, in this case, it actually works to resolve a lingering conflict between the members. An event that was covered in a previous episode in reference to a dream.

Watching the band play to an empty field was brutal. The mud, the rain, and the gray sky even adds up to the somber tone of this ep. But despite the "failure", there is still a sense of grit and determination to keep on going and doing their best in the festival.
