This episode blends tournament action with emotional anticipation, making the atmosphere feel more personal than usual. Misaki has plenty on her mind before the battle even begins, and that emotional weight adds tension without relying only on the fight itself. The newly introduced opponent is memorable thanks to her unusual personality and unique approach. It sets up an exciting match while quietly expanding the story.

This episode slowed the pacing down a bit, but I still enjoyed it. For me, it’s definitely not a skippable episode. If Misaki ends up using what she learned here in future battles, you’ll miss an important part of her growth if you skip it.
