I love how this episode feels more closer to a traditional sports themed anime and this episode still prioritizes the character drama then added focus on the game that gives the story a sense of momentum

The writing really makes you feel the mood. The way the scenes change as the tension builds is really great to watch. But what I love most about the direction is how expressive the characters are. You can really feel the emotions in every scene. This episode is really great.
