The drink preparation animation is mesmerizing 🍸 You can feel the passion in every pour. Two different bartending styles clashing is fun to watch. The facial expressions during the tasting were great. Really engaging stuff.

The focus on individual experiences stands out here. I liked how the episode builds emotion through dialogue rather than action, making it feel grounded and easy to connect with.

Episode Context

Episode 3 builds directly on Miwa's journey from Episode 2, where her search for the ideal bartender hit complications, by introducing a new measuring stick for excellence in Ryuuichi Kuzuhara. Positioned early in this 12-episode run, this installment deepens the show's central question, what truly constitutes the 'Glass of God', by contrasting rigid perfection with Sasakura's more intuitive approach. It lays essential philosophical groundwork that the back half of the season will likely challenge and complicate.
