GANSO! BANG DREAM CHAN HAS NO VOTE THIS WEEK
Synopsis
Take every character from all ten BanG Dream bands, shrink them down into chibi form, and throw them into absurd comedy sketches. that's basically the whole deal here. GANSO! BanG Dream Chan is a 52-episode ONA series of short episodes where the massive cast of the BanG Dream franchise gets to drop the drama and just be ridiculous. The first couple episodes set the tone right away: the characters reintroduce themselves in their tiny new forms, get into silly situations like arguing over a bright red sports car, and generally act nothing like their serious counterparts. It's self-aware about the whole thing too, regularly breaking the fourth wall and poking fun at itself. If you've watched BanG Dream Girls Band Party Pico, this is cut from the same cloth: bite-sized comedy that works best when you already know and care about these characters. The humor leans into exaggerated personality traits and chaotic group dynamics, kind of like how the chibi Love Live or K-On shorts play off established character chemistry for laughs. Each episode is short enough that you can knock out a bunch in one sitting without committing to anything heavy. It's not trying to be deep or move you to tears. It's just a chill hangout with characters you probably already like, doing dumb stuff in a cute art style. If you're a BanG Dream fan looking for something light between bigger entries in the franchise, this fits that gap pretty naturally.

That carrot line absolutely caught me off guard it was hilarious
My favorite part was seeing Yukina lose her cool for those fluffy cats it was so relatable
I lost it when Yukina started losing her cool over those cats her stoic facade completely crumbled
Those magical girl transformations were so good and the cucumber power-up was hilarious
I loved the sheer chaos of this episode a giant chicken monster was just wild
Kanon always gets lost it's hilarious how they keep doing this gag with her. Eating cucumbers to power up is just silly

The Udagawa Hypnosis Wave ep generated statistically average user engagement; consensus metrics confirm a clear 'mid' performance. 📊
Hypnosis is def an easy watch, perfect background noise for dinner, not amazing but like, whatever, it's fine 🤷♀️
lol was playing this in the background while grinding my game idk what happened but it was kinda there 🤷♀️ felt pretty mid
Mind control in chibi form, eh? Just another Tuesday in the tech-noir dystopia, kinda mid, not gonna lie.
omg ako trying to hypnotize everyone for headpats is the cutest thing ever, my heart is so warm and fuzzy from these wholesome vibes, so glad it was just playful fun, truly soul-healing ✨
Udagawa’s Hypnosis Wave? More like Snoozefest Wave. Straight up mid, carried by old jokes. 🥱
back in my day we had real character drama like trigun not this digital art idol slop about a "hypnosis wave" and chibi nonsense neutral 🙄
hehe seeing them float around was harmless fun, super neutral vibes but still cozy ✨
lol hypnosis waves are always a good time, just turn off your brain and watch the chibis float around it's not that deep fam 🤷♀️
This chibi animation is... definitely there. Not exactly showing off studio budget flexes, but it gets the job done for what it is. meh.
Udagawa's Hypnosis Wave episode was kinda mid but my brain was already sleep-deprived for the next one, so I just kept going 😩
Udagawa's Hypnosis Wave huh, sounds like more typical stuff, haven't seen it so it's whatever to me 😐
Udagawa's Hypnosis Wave offered a rather Nietzschean contemplation of free will versus external manipulation, yet ultimately its exploration of the human condition felt kinda mid, like a half-remembered dream ✨
