I like how this episode took its time to focus on our new characters from different schools. I can feel the deliberate pacing here as we see both the characters' backstories. It was also interesting seeing the Seimei High Dojo here, it was a nice change and a good variety showcasing a different school's environment for the first time. We also get to understand Azuma's reason for avoiding kendo here as well as Mei's peer pressure story.

Ooh Azuma is really good. I like how they're trying their hardest to influence her. I wonder how that's gonna go, especially with her parents. The duo is just so funny no matter what they do. Another great episode. The second practice session with another school so that's gonna be great as well.
