BAKI Episode 17: Dad!!

Okay! This is the weirdest episode of all. His father is in the room with them. But his father says something inspirational for once. This episode has enough lore in it to understand the story, and we are having a new character. And the ending is a cliffhanger.

That was the weirdest and most Baki type of interaction between himself and his dad. Nice to see some much needed lore drop in this series, really sets the tone for the yet to come episodes. I enjoyed the interaction (staring contest scene) between Doyle and Retsu.

Seeing Baki spiral into a frenzy as Kozue gets close to him is such a refreshing break from all the insane action + plotting/scheming. HATE and also shocked as to how the soft scene gets ruined though.
