Episode Context

Coming off Baki's intense bout with boxing champion Yuri Chakovsky in episode two, this episode marks a transitional pivot toward wilderness-based growth rather than competitive combat. Baki's time in Yasha Cave alongside Andou directly sets up his impending clash with the legendary Yasha Ape, a confrontation that represents a significant early test of his raw survival instincts. This episode functions as the calm before a brutal storm, bridging structured fighting and something far more primal.
