Baki landing in the same cell as Guevarra is a total plot twist. The plan to get locked up was lowkey hilarious but the mind games are getting dark and personal. The animation still feels a bit mid compared to the canon style but the story development and Baki's thirst for victor

Episode Context

Episode 3 marks a critical pivot point early in the season, after Baki's intense mental preparation in Episode 2, this installment launches the plot into an entirely new arena by setting up his path toward Arizona State Prison. It serves as the connective tissue between the opening training phase and the prison arc that will define the bulk of the season's remaining episodes. Everything established here, the audacity, the stakes, the new power dynamics, directly fuels what comes next.
