A Heartbreak and Many Regretful around Deceased Okabe and Many Regreyful Decision from Ibuki, So the book gonna either The Truly End or The New Beginning of Awajima as a whole.

I didn't expect this kind of closure for Ibuki. It was both satisfying and enraging at the same time. That cliffhanger tho T^T can't wait for next week!

The faculty and the son made great points tbh. Nice portrayal of how these realistic reactions could happen. And Tabata's writing turned out pretty well for the course of the entire series 🥹

Love the pacing in this episode, the dialogue also brought out a lot of depth for the characters

Watching the heart monitor flatline right after Ibuki made that apology to the ghosts of the students she failed was a lot to take in and the dream sequence looked incredible

A person buying the book in a modern shop at the end made the whole journey feel like it actually mattered for the legacy of those forgotten girls

I was not expecting the editor to be an old student too and her reaction to Wakana's speech from years ago made the whole publishing struggle feel worth it in the end

I still feel bad for Emi's son because he had every right to be mad at a deathbed confession and seeing her portrait at the funeral just reminded me how much talent went to waste

The transition from Wakana being a student to becoming the person who preserves the history of the girls who failed is a great choice, and it makes the title of the show finally click.

Ibuki asking Wakana to air out all the school dirty laundry right before she dies is such a heavy burden to leave behind and the scene with the son blowing up on Wakana felt so real

It was brutal seeing Ibuki admit she was part of the bullying against Emi and then just dying before she could actually do anything to fix the damage she caused to that family

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 10's focus on student ambitions and external pressures, Episode 11 turns inward, shifting attention to Ibuki's personal struggles and the unresolved weight she carries. It functions as the season's emotional reckoning — a necessary pause before the finale arrives to close out these arcs. With only one episode remaining, this installment is doing the quiet, essential work of preparing viewers for what the conclusion will need to resolve.
