Episode Context

Following 'Doll,' where the core trio solidified their partnership, 'Child' deepens the world's hostility toward outsiders and establishes the societal tensions that will define much of the series. At episode three of thirteen, this is still early-stage groundwork, introducing the harsh realities Layla and her companions face. It directly sets up 'Adult,' which continues to unpack the world's unsettling dynamic where dolls have replaced human children.
