I love the way the characters have been built upon in this anime. This episode too is a little slow when it comes to the pace as compared to the other episodes. But you can really see the effort put into Eren to build his character into someone the audience can admire.

The pace in this episode was a little bit slow compared from the first three episodes. The reality finally sinking in Eren’s perspective and his determination to to be strong and overcome the tragic nightmare gradually starting to be his resolve in standing and facing it off.

An unwinding for the nerves wrapped up with a sucker punch, we see how Eren cements his resolve in this episode. Just when everything seems to calm down, the episode brings back the main villain of the arc in a literal flash.
