EPISODE REVIEWS

Honestly you should watch episode 8, the character dynamics between the hunters and Titans are insane. The pacing is so intense, it feels like they're the prey and we're the hunters. Eren's transformation is a wild ride

After the chaos of last episode, this one pulls back hard and spends most of its runtime on flashbacks. Mixed feelings honestly. Feels like they're stretching for time. Too much flashback padding but the character work with Hannes is solid and the ending saves it.

The whole Chasing was awesome , with lots to intake in but alas They lost and got captured but wait ! it is still not over !!!

The pursuit. Graphics focus on the scouts' speed. Suspense as Armin begins to manipulate the traitors’ emotions.

Eren is stolen and now everyone else is left to reflect the pain and the loss. But i am glad that as always they go back for him. He is their ACE so they have to.

The aftermath of losing Eren and Ymir, on top of accepting that Reiner and Bertholdt were their enemies this entire time hits everyone deeply. You can feel the despair more through the vivid expressions Mikasa shows for Eren, and how everyone feels motivates in getting him back.

This is probably the best dark fantasy out there currently and this is totally a perfect 10/10 anime... the best part about it is how it respects the phrase 'character drama' meaning i like how it is satisfyingly 50% emotional reflection and 50% tense buildup it has.

This episode felt like a turning point in the arc. After the shocking reveal of Reiner and Bertolt as the Armored and Colossal Titans, the tension between them and the scouts reached a breaking point. What struck me most was the emotional weight.
