EPISODE REVIEWS

It was a shock to find out that Ymir had the capability to turn into a titan, as we all had the idea that Eren is some special child and the only one who could turn into a titan thus far! Not to mention how Christa's true identity being revealed and how Ymir knew the truth all along.

The pacing is well. It reveals one of the scout's secret and gave a backstory on how did Ymir & Christa bonded.

Holy peak.. I never really liked Ymir's character initially; she was really mean for no reason and never explained herself. Seeing her story and background, my view of her has changed so much. One of the strongest character writing for me, at least so far.

This one's a weird mix, half flashback, half rescue mission. Pacing's all over the place honestly. Slow burn that drags in the first half. The backstory needed to happen but execution felt clunky. That final shot of Reiner and Bertolt though. something's off with those two IYKYK.

The whole fight scene is a epic showcase , mostly the brutality of the fight between titans just one word "wow".

Ymir’s secret! Visuals of the "Jaw" Titan’s agility are fluid. Suspense as she transforms to save Christa from the horde.

I was getting pissed off because i didn't know the reason behind the bond of Ymir and Historia, but it is coming clear little by little.

What a plot twist! And the flashbacks really help explain much of the character motivations for both Ymir and Christa in this episode. There's something poignant about being told that you must live true to yourself instead of what others think. It's a message that was delivered well this time.

This is probably the best dark fantasy out there currently and this is totally a perfect 10/10 anime... the best part about it is how it respects the phrase 'character drama' meaning i like how it is satisfyingly 50% emotional backstory and 50% desperate survival it has.

they're the prey, and we're the hunters. Strong enough to keep Attack on Titan fans engaged — definitely watch.
