This was a really hard watch.. not only did I sympathize with Connie and Armin, but also Daz and Samuel. The betrayal felt mutual yet neither wanted to kill the other.

Yet again, this show amazes with its emotional depth and groundless characterization for even side characters. Everyone's emotions of betrayal and motivations for justice were all valid despite how they contrasted one another.

Episode Context

Coming directly after the campfire reckoning of 'Night of the End,' where fragile alliances were tested through painful honesty, 'Traitor' converts that emotional groundwork into irreversible action, characters stop debating and start committing. As episode 10 of 12, this is the fulcrum point of Part 2's endgame, transforming internal conflict into external momentum that feeds directly into 'Retrospective' and the season's final stretch.
