Episode 5 takes a welcome break from the heavier action and focuses more on Tomoharu and Kanade. Their interactions are funny and surprisingly sweet, while the episode also gives us more insight into Kanade’s family and the dangers connected to her powers. I liked how the lighter moments were mixed with a more serious reminder of what an Akuma has to deal with. The final scene also leaves an interesting mystery surrounding Tomoharu’s past.

Ag ood breather episode, the romance theme makes it watchable. I just wish they stayed like on this realm of plot where school and subtle romance with less random scenes from the plot. A nice episode. Just a breather though with tension lingering on the side.
