Asura Cryin' 2

The final episode delivers the kind of big finish I was hoping for. The battle is easily the highlight, with plenty of mecha action and some really satisfying moments between the characters. I also liked that the ending does not forget the emotional side of the story after all the chaos. Seeing the characters return to something closer to normal gives the series a warm conclusion, and overall, it feels like a fitting way to close out Asura Cryin’.

Episode 12 is definitely more of a setup episode than a major payoff. The pacing feels slower in places, but I liked the conversations about the different worlds and the choices the characters have to make. The episode also does a good job reminding us why the past still matters to the characters instead of simply focusing on the upcoming battle. Even though it takes its time, it leaves things in a good position for the finale.

Episode 11 feels like a proper setup for the final stretch of the story. I enjoyed the quieter moments between the characters, especially Tomoharu and Kanade, before the tension starts building again. The episode also gives everyone a clearer goal and makes the coming conflict feel much more important. It has a nice balance between romance, comedy, and the larger supernatural plot, which is something I have always liked about Asura Cryin’.

Episode 10 does a good job bringing several important pieces of the story together. I especially liked the focus on Tomoharu, Misao, and the connection between the different worlds. The mechanical side of the series also gets some attention, and the upgrades to the Asura Machina make the episode feel much more action-oriented. There is still a lot of information to take in, but this episode feels like it is finally moving toward something much bigger.

Episode 9 continues the strange situation from the previous episode while giving Tomoharu more to deal with. I liked how the episode balances the confusion of the new circumstances with some lighter character moments. The relationship between Tomoharu and Kanade also gets some attention, and their interactions feel more meaningful now that so much has happened. It is another episode that keeps adding pieces to the bigger picture without making everything immediately clear.

Episode 8 takes a nice change of pace after the chaos of the previous episode. I enjoyed seeing the characters deal with an unfamiliar situation while slowly realizing that things are not quite as they seem. The introduction of the older version of Ania was also pretty fun, especially because she feels much more capable and confident than before. Overall, this episode is more focused on exploration and character moments, which makes it a refreshing follow-up.

Episode 7 really feels like the point where the season starts taking itself much more seriously. The action is intense, and the mecha battles are easily one of the strongest parts of the episode. I also liked how the episode gives more attention to Kanade and the way her feelings have developed over time. There is a lot happening here, but the emotional moments help keep the episode from becoming just another action-heavy chapter.

Episode 6 finally starts putting some of the season’s biggest mysteries together, especially the connection between Tomoharu, the different worlds, and the people involved in his past. The revelations about Naotaka and the first-stage world are interesting, even if the explanation can be a little confusing at times. I liked that the episode actually moves the story forward instead of simply adding another mystery without answering anything. There are still plenty of questions left, but the direction is becoming clearer.

Episode 5 takes a welcome break from the heavier action and focuses more on Tomoharu and Kanade. Their interactions are funny and surprisingly sweet, while the episode also gives us more insight into Kanade’s family and the dangers connected to her powers. I liked how the lighter moments were mixed with a more serious reminder of what an Akuma has to deal with. The final scene also leaves an interesting mystery surrounding Tomoharu’s past.

Episode 3 has a nice balance between comedy, romance, and action. The summer break setting gives Tomoharu and the others some lighter moments, while Misao’s growing frustration adds a more emotional side to the episode. I especially liked seeing Tomoharu and Kanade get closer without the romance feeling too rushed. The mysterious figure appearing near the end also gives the episode a strong hook for what comes next.

Episode 2 does a good job of continuing Tomoharu’s struggle with protecting Misao while slowly expanding the bigger mystery surrounding his brother. I liked the focus on Tooru and the Science Club President, especially with the unexpected twist involving the koala. The episode still throws a lot of information at you, but Tomoharu’s desire to change the fate of Handlers and Burial Dolls gives the story a stronger direction.

Episode 1 was a pretty interesting return to Asura Cryin’, especially after how the first season ended. I liked how the episode initially kept things confusing before gradually giving more context through Tomoharu’s dream and memories. The atmosphere still has that mix of supernatural drama, romance, and mecha action that made the first season stand out, while the emotional side of Tomoharu and Kanade’s relationship feels more prominent this time around. The scene involving Natsume and Misao also added a surprisingly strong romantic moment. Overall, it feels like Season 2 is starting with more emotional weight, and I’m curious to see whether it can build on the story and characters from the first season.

I mean it was a good season ender, it is just the pace of the previous episode kind of drags this out. It was underwheling season ender. I feel like they just rush this out and make it a little bit fast. But yeah,, fight scene is good. Budget like re:zero in my opinion hmm.

yeah well you can really feel the tension rising up since its an episode where it is coming to and end. Very entertaining one with the like one of the plot on an episode. Lots of yapping but yeah, an interesting episode.

NIce breather episode, with lots of like yapping and planning, First half was a breather, the second was like tension built up fora next episode. And yeah i guess with discoveries on the side. Nice episode though.

Hmmm this is a classic asura cryin episode, lol there lots of battles and the animation is mid, I feel like magic and mecha cant go hand in hand with their plot being messy. Well yeah I guess classic asura cryin. Pace is slow, it was jsut focused on fights most of the time and lots of yapping during it.

Short confrontations and the animation is still mid. MC is still badly written. And yeah alot of discoveries. The episode was like a walmart version of an episode of Re:zero XD

First half was kind of chill, the pace on it was like okay, likea breather segment. And yeah well the tension on the second comes like a random bullet. Well i mean, it was mid. Petty MC still.

Ermmm MC gets on my nerves every episode, he is so petty and useless in my opinion. Cahracters are not really written well, the lore too lol mecha and magic huhuhu. Girl carried this episode lol.
