This is exactly what I was worried about, focusing an entire episode on just two characters' challenges has completely killed the momentum. A 12-episode season would have been the perfect length if they hadn't dragged things out so much with these trials.

I'm still quite entertained by the trials each character faces. Yue's trial was especially emotional. It was also admirable how her love for Hajime is something she expresses openly. Didn't expect the exchange with Shea to turn out like that, though. The overthinking got the better of Yue, unfortunately, but it led to quite a hilarious battle.
