It is a good episode with character growth from the characters and it delves into their inner world where their true selves get shown.
It was interesting to see Shizuku get a bit more selfish after her trial. I'm curious to see how the rest of the characters are going to respond to this change. The second half also had a bunch of characters clear their respective trials, some of which I hadn't expected to go so smoothly. Great to see Tio's mature side again, it's personally always more than welcome.
Spending an entire episode on just two characters' trials could really slow down the momentum. If everyone has to go through it at this rate, the arc is going to start feeling dragged out. They need to find a way to balance the individual tests without stalling the main plot for too long.
