It was certainly an impactful first episode. Tachibana Hotaru is an absolutely chaotic chuunibyou with the skill to back it up and I cant help but be endear with it. Because such characteristic are often looked down as childish, Hotaru being hypercompetent with a hero complex actually stands out as a main character.
