The story feels more serious here. The tone shifts slightly, and you can feel things starting to build toward something worth building up for~~

It's cute how destiny always makes a way for them to see each other, and finally, this time, they were able to talk to each other. It's obvious that Mizuho's still in love with Kizuki, though.

Every event thus far keeps leading her right into Kizuki. It is no wonder that she's confused after being shaken up before. He keeps confusing others as well. So far as we've seen, Shin is the final one yet to receive his conclusion. I agree with Kuroda at the end as well.

This episode hits hard because it strips away the excuses. Sometimes the hardest thing to admit isn't a deep dark secret, but simply that you weren't brave enough to stay when things got complicated.

At least the other people around her are giving Mizuho light pushes in different directions in this episode, progressing the story with it. But please let this build up make sense real soon, as in next week

Slow episode, I don't know when the payoff will be at this point as Mizuho is still stuck with her choices and everyone stays pining after all these years. Glad the scene with Kai sorta saved the episode

I'm so bothered by the animation the entire time, I just can't help but notice the clunkiness. And although that reconnection happened years later, MC is taking forever to figure things out emotionally

All this drama for a girl who sees less than a fjord in fog. Vika energy still on standby. Kinda mid.

Ugh, another episode of ppl just crying and not doing anything, makes me miss when anime on Toonami had actual plots, this just feels like mid-2000s drama but worse 😴

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the anxious, unresolved tension of 'I Don't Want to Lose You,' this episode marks the moment the suitors stop waiting and start acting. Kizuki and Shin each making their intentions tangible in dramatically different ways. At episode nine of twelve, the season is firmly in its endgame setup, converting simmering feelings into concrete, irreversible choices. The emotional groundwork laid here feeds directly into 'Something I've Been Meaning to Say,' where those unspoken truths are finally expected to surface.
