The shojou style of the character designs stands out. The use of rain to convey feelings and emotions is beautiful and sets a moody tone. It might caught you off guard with how the story develops but the episode is a strong start of an intriguing romance. 8/10

Episode 5's our little break from the heavy rain of emotions from Episode 4, welcoming a furry addition to our bunch of eccentric characters. It gives Kondo the parallel reality he so wished to have & it also shows us a different side to Tachibana’s character in that cute ending.

Episode 3 gives us a reality check on how age gap romances are perceived in society. The compare & contrast between two scenarios that took place in the episode shows the shapeless form of Tachibana’s feelings, Kase’s representation in real life, & a sneak peek of Kondo's heart.

This episode walks us down Tachibana’s memory lane, poking old injury and revisiting her forgotten dream in quiet, poignant moments, like reflective silences and understated gestures, making the episode feel deeply personal. It also highlights the anime’s poetic touch.

This episode gives us an experience of Tachibana’s usual day through ambient scenes & sounds, the background music maintaining its introspective, melancholic vibe, before it slowly dives into her story, leaving us breadcrumbs of hints about the two main characters’ relationship.
