This ep is a total emotional rollercoaster and the domestic drama is hitting hard. We finally get the backstory and character depth needed to understand Marilla’s deep-seated trust issues, especially with that missing amethyst brooch.

So many momentous occaisions happened this episode! First, we got to see more depth in Marilla and Anne's relationship with the brooch. Next, we see her entering school and being intelligent. I appreciate that a dreamer like her can be so incredibly smart!

The OP was quite nostalgic about the theme of Anne's growth. The ED looks cool with that simple animation going on. The ep has a pretty amusing start with how Anne pulled off that intense misunderstanding between her and Marilla. It was entertaining with the plot shifting to a school vibe and the comeback of a charming character.
