This ep is a total emotional gut-punch and Matthew’s quiet love shines so bright here. We finally get the emotional depth and character growth needed to see how much this family truly relies on each other now, and that dress reveal was beautiful.

I love that this episode shows Anne's thoughts on disappointment. Whenever things went wrong during her youth, Anne would blow up but now she takes it with stride. I love how you can see each character grow up and change through out this show.

This episode moves at the speed of Anne's imagination but somehow still keeps the emotional charm intact. Between chaotic household disasters and Anne getting humbled by her own insecurities again, it really captures that painfully human process of growing up little by little.
