This ep is a total tear-jerker and the seasonal shift at Green Gables is gorgeous. We finally get the emotional payoff and character depth needed to see how deeply Matthew and Marilla love Anne, especially during the sickness crisis with Minnie May.
Children piss me off. Davie was really doing the most though he is a traumatized child. I'm glad Anne has such a level head on her shoulders. Mathew would be so proud. I wonder what is up for Anne in the future.
Davy arrives and instantly turns Green Gables into a full survival challenge for Anne and Marilla. The episode is chaotic in the funniest way possible, but underneath all the gremlin behavior is a surprisingly emotional story about kids wanting attention and a place to belong.
