Episode Context

With Marilla's decision to keep Anne now settled after Episode 5, this episode shifts focus to what that decision actually means in daily life, grounding Anne's place at Green Gables before the wider Avonlea community comes into play. It sits in the early establishment phase of the season, where character relationships matter more than external conflict. The episodes ahead will gradually expand Anne's world outward, making this an important emotional baseline.
