"An Expression" explores the meeting of two distinct figures: an urban man, represented by a triangle, and a country woman, symbolized by a circle. The narrative unfolds through the dynamic interplay of these geometric forms, brought to life through movement. The film's director, Shigenji Ogino, sought to imbue the animation with natural color using the kinema color technique. However, as an early application of this technology, the color rendering is not smooth.
