Bro the emotional side of the story starts hitting harder here. You can tell Nephy slowly begins opening up, but the awkward tension between her and Zagan still makes every conversation feel fragile. The anime keeps balancing wholesome moments with darker fantasy elements really well. Lowkey one of the best things is how genuine the relationship development feels instead of rushing everything instantly.

Cuties! We get a better idea of how terrifying everyone else thinks he is, but the anime keeps things fun by focusing on how awkward and cute things are between him and Nephy.

I love that Nephy isn’t just a passive waifu. The moment Zagan got hurt, she absolutely crashed out on those knights. Do not mess with her man
