This episode really doubles down on the awkward romance energy and it works surprisingly well. Watching Zagan desperately try to make Nephy comfortable while having absolutely zero social skills is both painful and adorable at the same time. Fr the anime understands that small interactions can be way more entertaining than nonstop action scenes. The castle atmosphere also feels weirdly relaxing despite all the magic and dangerous-looking surroundings.
The balance between his intimidating appearance and his actual thoughts is hilarious. ^_^ It's a sweet, well paced continuation that deepens the comedy without giving anything away.
The title of this episode is so incredibly accurate. Poor Zagan has zero social skills but he is trying his absolute best to be a good provider
