EPISODE REVIEWS

It's a good start, something fresh and organic as you see how the main characters interact; Hikari is adorable. By the way, the characters' uniforms are beautiful.

A peaceful way to start an episode. The contrast between the main characters is so cute and makes you want to learn more about them.

Episode Context

As the series premiere of a 12-episode season, this episode is purely foundational, establishing the seaside world, introducing Futaba and Hikari, and setting the contemplative tone that will define the show. There's no prior setup to catch up on; this is your entry point. Episode 2, 'The Story of Doing Something Bad With Hikari,' begins deepening the central friendship and moves toward the shared diving adventures that become the heart of the series.
