Episode 12 is a solid season finale. It delivers the action payoff the season has been building toward, gives Charlotte and Haruto meaningful emotional beats, and resolves the demon lord conflict in a satisfying way. The animation is still weak, and Haruto is still boring, but the writing and character work are stronger here than in most episodes. If you've made it this far, this episode rewards your patience.
