Nami hiding her own feelings while trying to set her brother up with a classmate could have been interesting but the show is too busy focusing on the Aki and Sora stuff to care

I don't see why people compare this to Yosuga no Sora because that one at least had some atmosphere, but this OVA just feels like it is checking boxes for explicit content. Sora being pushed toward Kana by Nami while he is already with Aki makes for some drama, but the animation is so clunky it totally ruins the mood for me

Comparing this to the manga makes it obvious they cut out way too much detail and now it just feels like a collection of explicit scenes without any of the actual substance from the source material

Watching Sora and Aki pretend to be a normal couple while being siblings is just uncomfortable and the lack of any actual plot beyond the shock value makes it hard to sit through

I really hated how cheap the animation looked during the rainy confession and the writing is so thin because it just feels like the show wants to get to the gross stuff without building any tension first

I liked the flashback to the rain even if everything after that made me want to turn my screen off for a bit

Starting this for the art was a mistake, because things got extreme so quickly. The sibling dynamic between Aki and Sora is definitely a choice, and it is hard to tell if there is a story or if the show just wants to be provocative. Nami seems to have some issues too so the whole family is just a mess in this one.

you see in the title it says in a dream but the logic in this episode is already so messy that nothing about their mother or their feelings makes any sense

seeing Sora in a cat girl outfit was pure chaos and there is no way Nami was just trying to help him find a girlfriend

Sora has a lot of problems and the way he talks about Aki in his head makes the whole plot seem hopeless

the sisterly bond is way too explicit, and Aki helping him in the kitchen like it was totally normal felt so wrong.

I thought I clicked on the wrong show because that cooking scene with Sora and Aki went way further than I expected for a normal romance anime

my brain is still trying to process if this has a real story or if it is just an excuse for the fanservice between siblings

why did Nami put him in a cat girl outfit though and then just leave him like that while he talks about his sister

that rainy day confession scene was actually kind of pretty but then the rest of the episode happens and it gets weird really fast

Sora is such a pushover that it makes the whole situation feel even more uncomfortable and I can see why people are debating if this is just a hentai because the scenes are so explicit but the way the twin sister Nami is acting behind the scenes adds a weird psychological layer that I did not expect to find here

The animation for these intimate scenes looks way better than most actual shows from 2009 and the detail in my opinion is very impressive

Watching Nami try to set her own brother up with Kana while clearly wanting him for herself is messy, but I guess that is the whole point of this show

Sora really needs to grow a spine and stop letting everyone push him around and tell him what to do because his passivity is actually annoying

I was not ready for how far they went with Aki and Sora in this first part and it makes me feel so weird watching them together like that

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode picks up where the original Aki-Sora OVA left off, deepening the secretive relationship between Aki and Sora while bringing Nami meaningfully into the fold for the first time. As the first of only two episodes in this release, it carries the full weight of setup, establishing the emotional and dramatic tensions that the finale will need to resolve. Everything here is groundwork — Nami's involvement in particular is positioned as the central thread that Episode 2 will follow to its conclusion.
