The speed at which he’s crossing names off the list is impressive. There’s reason to be afraid if you’re on that list, because no matter what you do, it seems like Sato will find you—hahaha.
There’s tension building on every front as the scale of the war increases. It’s also interesting how Tosaki values Kei; it’s subtle, but noticeable. There’s also some good action in this episode, a great but somewhat expected reveal about the Americans, and a very satisfying payoff to a Chekhov’s gun introduced in the first season.
Just like predicted, people are getting crossed off that list incredibly quickly. The introduction of the people from the Department of Defence seems to mess things up completely for Tosaki and Shimomura... A frustrating but engaging watch.
