This finale was massive, packed with explosions and epic moments, but the resolution regarding what happens to Satō and Kei leaves you with mixed feelings. It is a very open-ended conclusion that resolves the immediate problem, yet you know the danger never truly goes away.
Tosaki is showing some humanity in the end, after all this time being so cold with everyone. Finally, a flood phenomenon. This was foreshadowed from the start, and I was waiting for this since that moment. This feels like a good enough ending; let’s just maybe ignore the last few scenes since there’s no third season in sight :)
Looks like this anime has to get another season based on this episode. Honestly wasn't too convinced Sato would go down that easily with such a half-assed attempt at a capture. Kinda decent, but not too impressed.I believe Shimamura should've also got some kind of character development; she's just portrayed as a weak character with no training arc at all, even though she's supposed to be a bodyguard - my girl didn't get to win a single fight (T _ T)
