📖 SYNOPSIS

"Aika-chan no Chikyuu" is a one-shot anime based on the manga "Secrets of the World," created by Aika Tsubota, who tragically passed away shortly after completing it at the age of 12. Her parents published the manga in her memory. The anime adaptation, sponsored in part by a charity dedicated to combating ocean pollution, serves as a tribute to Aika's work and a platform to promote environmental awareness. The story itself focuses on environmental themes, reflecting Aika's passion for the subject. In 1995, "Secrets of the World" was also adapted into a two-part video series, supported by the Japanese Department of the Environment.
