Koguma, a reserved second-year high school student, has nothing—no parents, hobbies, friends, or goals. On her way home one afternoon, she visits a vehicle shop in hopes of acquiring a motor scooter. With only enough money to make ends meet, she is disheartened by the price tags and prepares to turn back. However, as she is about to leave, the shop's owner offers her a pre-owned Honda Super Cub for ten thousand yen. And just like that, the story has come to an end. The final episode is a road trip with Koguma, Reiko, and Shii, along with a surprising twist at the end. Nothing really crazy like the last episode, but I really liked the bond these three shared the whole time. The sceneries of the places they went to was also beautifully animated. Overall, this has become one of my favorite slice-of-life anime. It has great animation, likeable characters, and so many scenes that are very relatable. For bike enthusiasts or those that want a low-stress anime, this is a great one to watch!
I wasn't expecting a change of pace, but the first half was pretty nerve wrecking, seeing Shii like that. After the first half, it becomes the usual mellow and slow-paced. The twist at the end was nice little touch from the first episode as well. Overall, a crazy, but heartwarming episode!
The winter may be in full swing and the snow has covered the roads, but that won't stop Koguma and Reiko from having any fun! Seeing them ripping it up in the snow together is wholesome and at times, funny. It's one of those perfect occasions to watch this at home in winter time and have a cup of coffee like they do. All in all, a really fun and worry-free episode... that is until the last minute of it >_>
The premise is pretty similar to the previous episode. Koguma and Reiko are still trying to find ways to stay warm for the upcoming winter. Along the way, they've also been getting warm coffee thanks to their new friend, Shii. The way that they depict how cold it was is pretty realistic, so much so that even I was shivering! Despite all of that, it's a wholesome, heartwarming episode. Hopefully they'll be prepared once snow comes!
In this episode, we're introduced to Shii, a classmate who has been grateful to Koguma and Reiko for their help in the festival. We also see Koguma and Reiko trying to get ready for winter. With Shii becoming fast friends with Reiko and Koguma, hopefully we get to see a third Cub rider joining them soon!
Koguma and Reiko's school are holding a festival, but it's in jeopardy. It's up to the two Cub riders to save the day! Nothing really much to say about this episode, mainly just Reiko and Koguma running errands in order for the festival to happen without a hitch. Par for the course from what we've seen so far, which I don't really mind, as I dig the relaxing atmosphere.
Back to the mellow, slow-paced episodes we go after last one. Here, we see Koguma putting her riding skills to the test, as she plans to travel a much longer distance on her bike than before, filled with hilly and twisty turns. For the most part, it's pretty mellow, as it shows Koguma's journey to a place she hasn't been to before. A solid episode that I don't mind watching over and over, just for the scenery.
Yay, a Reiko episode! From what I've seen so far in the four previous episodes, I was expecting to be pretty slow-paced and mellow. What I didn't expect is hardcore, action-packed motorcycling. It made me a bit nervous seeing her ride in this episode. Her determination and fire to keep riding is inspirational, despite the obstacles in her way. All I could say is I hope Reiko eventually reaches her goal. Probably my favorite episode so far!
From the first episode to this one, we see how much Koguma has changed in a short time. Before, we see her being a lonely introvert with nothing to do. Now, we see her making a friend, getting a job, now being more open towards other people. Seeing her smile gives a real warming feeling too. You go, Koguma, keep striving for those goals!
Watching this episode was a mix of happiness and nostalgia. It was really great seeing Reiko and Koguma bonding. From their love of their bikes as well as helping each other out, it's that vibe that, while not really eventful, is just fun to watch. It's also nostalgic to me, since I have a friend that pretty much did the same thing with his old car. A great episode overall, and I hope to see them ride around together in future episodes!
Loving the slow vibes and Koguma's ongoing journey to learn more about motorcycles along with mellow music and consistent animation.
The vibes and animation are consistent while showing off how Reiko knows all about motorcycles parts and accessories to Koguma, expanding her horizons.
Yeah, a very rewarding and chill season ender. The friendship is very wholesome and cute. They had each other's back and the journey of the girls are awesome. It was a chill anime yeah, but this soothes your heart and mind. Great to watch if you want peace and ride a bike.
ermmm i really do feel bad for Shii, and damn did not expect the emotions comes like a meteor out of nowhere. This episode hits my soul and heart. ooffff. Yeah one of the greatest episode so far. If you want something that tugs your heart, watch this.
ohhh here we go, this is what ive been waiting for, a turn of event. This spices things up, and definitely you should watch it. The cliffhanger hooks the viewers into waiting for the next episode omg. Great episode, surely the best so far. Not everything is happy go lucky huh.
ahh yup, it is what it is, this just hits you typical motorbike owner on the cold weather. They really portray the character really well and step by step makes into a wholesome episode. The characters are so cute, but yeah i feel like i want to see more energy on the MC. But yeah, the animation is great, the voice acting too is great.
yup this one is great, a newly introduced character already getting the spotlight and not beating around the bush. WIth this the story progress a bit and the friendship became larger. Great wholesome episode. The animation stays great on the facial expression. Shii is just so cute.
hmmm yeah typical slice of life anime, slow AF. This episode was chill and fun, i enjoyed the rides and all. If you want to binge watch this seires you can really just watch it all in one day. Animation stays great on the rides.
okay W upgrades on the super cub. And look the pace of the story is mid, each episode has little progress and all. the animation stays solid. The background music great, so mellow and soothing. it was an okay episode. Should be skippable.
A heartwarming and relatable episode that shows how an introvert gets befriended by an extrovert in a school setting while also showing more cool features of the Super Cub.
