Episode Context

As the final episode of a 24-episode season, this is the definitive resolution to the series' core conflict, the tension between Kaoru and Aoi's love and the Sakuraba family's opposition. Episode 23 escalated that conflict sharply when Aoi's father moved to separate them, and this finale picks up directly from that confrontation.
