the personal space gags are kinda funny at first but you can already tell this show has like 3 jokes total and plans to recycle them for 12 episodes. cozy vibes tho ill give it that much its not unwatchable

Aharen-san is so adorable and Raido is just trying to be a normal classmate, Aharen is on a totally different character. One second she’s super distant, and the next she’s literally inches from his face. fun to watch

The dynamic between Raido and Aharen is hilarious because they both overthink everything. The animation is a bit flat and simple, but it actually fits the deadpan humor perfectly.

MAPPA-style soft graphics make Aharen look adorable. The peak moment is Raidou realising she’s just quiet, not ignoring him. In this episode, I feel like their proximity is hilariously misunderstood.

The vibe from the first episode is really calm, with humor that doesn’t feel forced at all. Aharen is adorable with her petite character. Both Raidou and Aharen are trying their best to make their friendship work. Since it’s also a romance, I’m curious to see where it goes.

It's fun to watch once you get past the awkwardness as it peaks your curiosity. Aharen is cute, almost too adorable for her classmate, who gives off more of an older brother vibe. She kind of reminds me of Rimuru in terms of cuteness. Charming, awkward, yet captivating.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode one of twelve, this premiere is purely foundational — it introduces Raidou and Aharen, establishes their unconventional dynamic, and defines the comedic formula the series will build on throughout its run. There's no prior context needed; this is the entry point. Everything here sets the stage for an episodic exploration of their deepening friendship and the increasingly absurd misunderstandings that come with it.
