Episode Context

Sitting at episode 20 of 24, this marks a pivotal late-season shift as the series begins isolating Keiichi and Belldandy from their celestial safety net, raising the personal stakes heading into the final stretch. The previous episode dealt with personal boundaries and misunderstandings, and this one escalates by removing Urd and Skuld from the equation entirely. It directly sets the stage for the episodes that follow, which dive deeper into celestial mythology, particularly the concept of angels and their significance to the goddesses.
