Episode Context

Arriving at episode 17 of 39, this episode lands at the midpoint of the series, following a stretch that forced the crew to reckon with their own humanity in the aftermath of conflict. It represents a deliberate narrative exhale, pulling back from action to build the emotional and thematic groundwork that will carry the story forward. It directly sets up 'The Sea of Lorelei,' signaling that deeper revelations and shifting character relationships are on the horizon.
