why was this so short because it feels like they just started getting to the good parts of their relationship and now it is over

I really enjoyed how this finale tied things together even if it felt like it ended way too soon. Seeing Mio and Shuuji finally start to drop their guards and go on a date was such a sweet moment and it makes me want a second season immediately. The whole series was just a fun ride and that walk at the end made me so happy and I just need more of them.

it is kind of annoying that we never got a huge confession or a wedding or something but seeing them walk together at the end was enough

mio finally letting her guard down to go on that date was a great way to show how much she has changed since the start

those two walking off on a date at the end was so cute and i really hope we get a second season to see where they go next

the series is becoming something much more meaningful than it seemed at the start and the graduation theme hit home for mio, while viewers are still stressing over natsuko because that relationship feels like it might break at any second and the community just wants her to be happy, since it is a weirdly touching show for this genre and the graduation theme grounds it well

seeing that bird lady metaphor play out was so strange and it adds such a weird layer to the animation that you do not usually see

i went into this for the fanservice but the actual plot between mio and shuuji is keeping me way more invested than the adult scenes

natsuko is causing a lot of stress and the pacing of her story makes it feel like something bad is going to happen soon which is scary

graduation scenes for mio felt so sincere and they made me feel a lot more for her than i ever expected to

there were moments where it seemed better to just stop watching, but the heart in this episode makes the whole journey worth the time

that bird lady theory is living in my head now because it really does feel like she is working against the main girl in these scenes

i am getting a bit worried about natsuko and i really hope things do not end in some weird tragedy for her because she deserves a break

it is just fun to see a romance that feels a bit more mature than the usual high school stuff and the chemistry is actually pretty great

sticking with it after that rough start pays off because it is getting emotional and the show is actually getting really touching now

Everything about the bird lady programming her own animations into that void is super weird and definitely means she is the villain here

I hope people who dropped this show early come back for this episode because the touching moments between Shuuji and Mio are so worth it

Watching Mio deal with the bird lady was frustrating because that woman is clearly trying to ruin everything for her and Shuuji

The way this episode ended felt so ominous and you can really tell a tragic ending is coming for Shuuji and Mio

I really think the bird lady is sabotaging Mio on purpose and it made me so mad watching her mess with the animations today

EPISODE CONTEXT

All seven preceding episodes have been building the relational tension and emotional groundwork that this finale is designed to cash in on. Episode 8 functions as the definitive endpoint — no next episode to defer to, no loose threads left intentionally dangling. Whatever developments unfolded in Episodes 6 and 7 feed directly into this graduation-themed conclusion, making this the essential watch for anyone who has followed the series to its end.
