The tomboy prince acting all flustered during the negotiation was my personal highlight because she acts so cool normally but Itsuki really has her on the ropes now

Four minutes is barely an episode and they spent half of it on dialogue instead of actually showing the sweet agony the title promised us

The art for the heiress is high quality, and her smug attitude makes the whole agreement scene way better than you'd expect for a short episode.

I think the four minute runtime is way too short because we barely got to see the teacher being frustrated before the credits started rolling and it felt rushed

Itsuki meeting the heiress finally happened and her reaction to the agreement was actually pretty funny considering how much power she usually has over the school

Stopping that proposal right when it was getting serious shows how much Akari wants to stay in control of the situation with Itsuki

A rich girl like Yue proposing in front of everyone is such a wild situation and he looked so confused the whole time

Akari is clearly not playing around when it comes to keeping Itsuki for herself after she dragged him into the restroom like that

The tension between Akari and Yue in that classroom scene was crazy, especially when Akari decided to just take him to the restroom to get him alone.

I was laughing so hard when Akari got jealous and physically pulled Itsuki away from Yue to hide in the bathroom with him

Yue really thinks she can just buy Itsuki with an engagement ring and she is not wasting any time at all in this episode

I can't believe Yue just asked Itsuki to get engaged in the middle of class like that and she didn't even care who was watching her do it

I was really surprised by how fast Yue moved with that engagement proposal in the classroom today. It felt like she just met him, and now she wants to lock him down forever before the other girls get a real chance. Akari jumping in to stop them and then pulling him into the bathroom was such a power move. It was such a bold move to make in front of everyone, and the way the tension built up in that room was just perfect.

That restroom scene with Akari was so intense because she just took him in there for privacy without even asking

Akari showing up to stop that proposal was a huge surprise because she basically dragged him away before he could even answer Yue

Yue trying to lock down an engagement in an empty classroom was such a power move and she is definitely not playing around

That restroom scene really caught me off guard because Akari just totally took control after that classroom interruption and I like how she didn't even give Yue a chance to finish her proposal, before dragging Itsuki away it really shows how desperate these girls are getting, and Itsuki is just stuck in the middle of this mess with no way out

Akari barging in right when Yue was making her move was the highlight and then she just drags him to the bathroom

I felt so awkward for Itsuki when Yue was cornering him about marriage because he clearly had no clue how to handle a girl like that

Yue really went for the kill with that classroom engagement talk and I did not expect her to be that direct

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 4, 'Finding a Fiancé', which put Yue Kurumizawa's search for a partner front and center, Episode 5 shifts from pursuit to negotiation — testing whether the groundwork laid so far can hold under scrutiny. Sitting at the series' midpoint with three episodes remaining, this is where character relationships either solidify or fracture. It directly feeds into Episode 6, 'The 'Prince' Who Loves Reading', by establishing the terms of trust that will shape how those dynamics continue to unfold.
