Adam's Sweet Agony

Synopsis
When a pandemic renders virtually every man on Earth impotent, there is one notable exception: a high school kid named Itsuki. That's the setup, and it goes exactly where you'd expect from there. To keep his condition under wraps, Itsuki transfers to a school that happens to be 90% girls, which is either the worst possible decision or the most inevitable one depending on how you look at it. Once he arrives, he runs into the usual cast of complications: a warm, friendly upperclassman named Akari, a teacher named Kaede who is visibly not handling the global situation well, a tomboyish student called Aki who carries herself like the school's unofficial prince, and Yui, an heiress with her own agenda. The early episodes are mostly Itsuki trying to keep his head down while everyone around him makes that increasingly difficult. It's a harem setup dressed in a light sci-fi premise, which gives it a little more texture than the average school romance of this type. Character designs come from Yoshihiro Watanabe, whose work you might recognize from The Testament of Sister New Devil, so visually it's polished. If you've watched High School DxD or To Love-Ru and wanted something with a slightly more grounded world-building hook underneath the fanservice, this 8-episode ONA scratches a similar itch without overstaying its welcome.

Good
I finally found the uncensored version and the classroom scene with Akari was actually wilder than the manga description
The broadcast version on Tokyo MX is basically a slideshow and you really need to find the Coolmic stream to see what is actually happening in that classroom
I felt like you mostly just get a lot of talking and introductions and it takes a while to get to any of the actual scenes people probably came here to see
seeing the way the heiress treats everyone like trash, you just know Itsuki is going to be the one to knock her down a peg later on in the season
the prince character looks cool and the idea of Itsuki being the only guy left who can actually do anything is a strong hook for the rest of the show
you can tell the budget is low and the pacing felt way too fast for a first episode and the background characters all look like cardboard
I was really into the scene where Itsuki realizes that almost every girl in the school is watching him like he is a piece of meat and the tension with the teacher in the hallway was what actually kept me watching because her animation was actually decent for once and it makes the whole premise feel more real than I expected
when the teacher starts acting up in the middle of class, it really sets the tone for how desperate everyone in this world is for Itsuki
Itsuki has no clue what he is walking into when that teacher looks at him like a buffet and it already feels like he is doomed in the best way
the heiress is definitely my favorite so far and I think her attitude when she first meets Itsuki makes for the best scene in the whole first episode
you get a lot of setup for the girls but the prince character is kind of weird and the logic of the virus is a bit of a stretch
you see that senior girl being all friendly but you know she has some ulterior motives and the way the school looks like a trap for him is actually hilarious
Itsuki trying to stay undercover while surrounded by four billion women who want him is a wild setup and seeing him get cornered by that teacher was intense
The movements in the scene with the senior girl looked way better than the rest of the school introduction and you can really see the difference
I was worried the pandemic setup would be too dark, but it just makes the interactions with the heiress feel way more desperate and earned since seeing Itsuki try to hide his secret in a school that is ninety percent girls is hilarious because you know he is going to fail and the teacher is already clearly onto him after that meeting
The part where the tomboy school prince got all flustered when Itsuki showed up shows how much she wants him
