Pretty slow episode overall. If you're here for games and hype moments, watching someone practice a changeup for 20 minutes might test your patience LOL

Furuya seeing Sawamura grind and immediately deciding he needs to work harder too is peak rivalry energy. These two are constantly pushing each other forward

I really appreciate that the show doesn't magically cure Sawamura's yips. Recovery feels slow, frustrating, and realistic.

This episode is basically a "trust the process" episode, and honestly I loved it. There aren't any huge games or dramatic walk-offs, but the character development is carrying hard

Sawamura closing things out felt symbolic. After everything he's been through, being trusted in a crucial moment again is a huge step forward.

Seeing Mukai finally lose control of the situation was honestly kind of shocking. Bro had been running the game for like three episodes straight 😭

MAEZONO APOLOGY FORMS NEED TO BE SIGNED IMMEDIATELY 😭 After all the struggles and frustration leading up to this moment, seeing him come through when it mattered most was insanely satisfying

The ending had me more excited for the next episode than anything else. Forget the tie game, Sawamura getting called upon is the real cliffhanger. 😤

Ochiai is still annoying, but I can't lie... his observations are usually on point 😭. Every time he speaks, I hate that he's making sense

This is where the game finally starts paying off all the setup from the previous episodes 🔥 Watching Seidou slowly figure out Mukai instead of magically overpowering him made the breakthrough feel earned.

Not gonna lie, Mukai was cooking so hard this episode that I almost forgot Seidou was supposed to be the main team HAHA

The atmosphere is honestly incredible. The muddy field, soaked uniforms, and constant pressure make the game feel exhausting even from the couch 😭

Mukai continues to be an absolute menace. Every time Seidou looked like they were figuring him out, he just pulled out another perfectly placed pitch 💀

The pacing is slower than some of the previous tournament games, but it never feels boring because every at-bat carries weight 🙌

Not a flashy episode, but a really solid baseball episode. The focus is less on big moments and more on building tension through every pitch. Gave me goosebumps lmao

Miyuki quietly steals a lot of scenes here. While everyone else is focused on surviving the game, he's already trying to solve the puzzle that is Mukai. Not to mention he looks good as hell???? 😭😂

This episode is mostly setup, but it sets up a lot. New leadership, new tournament, new rivals, and a new coach who immediately shakes the entire team <3
