📖 SYNOPSIS

Burning Kabaddi originates from Japan, adapted from a manga serialized from 2015 to 2024, which won the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2025. It tells a story of Tatsuya Yoigoshi, a talented soccer player, now a high school student, has abandoned his past dreams to become a famous internet streamer, growing to dislike sports. His life takes an unexpected turn when Souma Azemichi, a member of the school's kabaddi team, aggressively recruits him. Drawn into the school gym, Tatsuya witnesses an intense kabaddi match, a dynamic contact sport he initially scoffs at. However, the energy and fierce competition of the game slowly change his perspective. Through a mix of persuasion and a spontaneous challenge, Tatsuya finds himself agreeing to join the team.
